My wife and I have been married for 12 years and we have 3 small kids. Our relationship was great at first but has deteriorated a lot over time to the point that for the first time I started wondering if our marriage would last. I talked to a therapist and she told me it sounds like my wife has PTSD and BPD. I couldn’t believe it. She recommended and I started reading Stop walking on eggshells and it opened my eyes. I love my wife but I don’t think I can live with her emotional abuse. Will she change? If not, what about our 3 small kids? I don’t know what to do. Help!

Welcome! Welcome new member (click to insert in post)

Am so sorry this is happening.

Well it is a lot to take in, I think you are dealing with a lot of new information.

Things can get a lot better. We can learn extremely useful tools, ways of being.
Be gentle with yourself.
Pause.  Be good to yourself.
Take care of well being, which for me is
HALT(am I Hungry, Angry, Lonely,Tired.?)
There is a lot to learn here...
I cannot learn all of this in one day.

The best thing is, you found this community!

There is hope, experience, strength here.

Share, read, post.

Things can and do get better.

Tomorrow is a new day.

Sincerely
