The BPD that I have to deal with on a regular basis is my mother in law. It's hard to keep track of all the things she comes up with to try to make the relationship with my father in law toxic. The lies she tells are so far fetched and she would chose a lie even if the truth sounded better. Frustrated/Unfortunate (click to insert in post)

Hi stars34  Welcome new member (click to insert in post) I have a BPD MIL as well. Took me six years and marriage counseling to understand what was going on. It has really taken a toll on my marriage.

I see from your profile that you live next door to her. Does the proximity have a positive or negative influence on your relationship?

It is just her lying or are there other BPD-like behaviors?
