Partner has BPD needing advice

Hi All, writing as I'm needing some advice and guidance from you.
I have been with my partner for several months now and when we first got together he laid his cards out on the table and told me he has mental health problems.
He told me he had been having therapy for 8months and was diagnosed with bordline and post traumatic stress. He had served in afghan on the front line for 6years and has alot of truama from that and his child hood was awful.
At the beginning it was all good and exciting as months have gone on its got more stressful. He has such a beautiful caring personality but then in comes the bpd and it hits him like a tonne of bricks and then me. He will say very hurtful things to me and does everything in his power to push me away as far as blocking me. I always respond with calmness and try to make him feel better but he just says I'm lying and gets more angry. I need advice on how to act and what to do when his bpd is on the run. Look forward to hearing from anyone who has a partner with bpd how you managed your relationship and emotions, I feel like I'm on a roller-coaster. I love him so much and I know he does me aswell. I just need advice, advice from someone with suffers with bpd would be great aswell.
Xx
