We have a son leaving treatment for borderline , bipolar, substance use , adoption and physical disabilities shortly .  Has another major surgery coming up.  Treatment got the diagnoses but not sure what else was able to be addressed.  Looking for others to just get a perspective.  Son was in many treatment programs for substance misuse as a teenager nothing since then.  Went voluntarily this time.

Thanks

Hi Yogomama and welcome to the family here.

Gosh your son has so much to deal with, such complex illnesses! And you have no doubt been supporting him through many crises and times of distress.

It really is positive that he volunteered for treatment this time.

I hope you feel the same support that I feel when I come here to read others' posts. When I am at my lowest, it lifts me up knowing that I am not alone.
