First Post- Feeling so frustrated

Hi, Newbie here.
I understand that BPD is a disease and the person suffering from it is hurting, but it is so hard to deal with the anger and verbal abuse.
I try to tell myself “this is the only way he know how to deal with his feelings” but it doesn’t feel good to me.

Hi JADE
Welcome. Sorry for what has happened. Happy you have found us.
Yes - these break-ups are full of challenges. They are confusing and can leave a person feeling completely disoriented.
How did you find us? Have you had a look around? What are you hoping being here will help with?
There's lots of experience here. We've all been there and continue to be there in some way, shape or form.
Lots of experience, yes. But ZERO judgement.
Hang in there.
Reach out any time.

Hey Jade530,
These relationships are confusing, and most people feel disoriented afterwards, there's a lot of info on the site that can help you feel less confused, and a lot of people that can help you feel less crazy and alone about it.
I deal with a lot of anger myself. I think it's a natural feeling, especially at first, my journal has become my greatest outlet for that. Ideally you don't take things personally, but it's not always easy to avoid, and anger can help assert your self worth, as long as you don't get stuck in it, in a long term basis, and have healthy outlets for it, it can aid the healing process.
When I was a kid, my anger was stifled a lot, so it really was hard to learn to find outlets on that and give myself the right to feel anger.
Hope you feel better.
