Hey!  I am recently separated from my husband whom I believe has BPD.  We ended up in a very unhealthy way.  We were very codependent.  I was the caregiver and he had 1,000 needs that never ended.  I am looking to break away from codependent thinking errors and behaviors.  I think I am very entrenched.  Help!

Hi and welcome Welcome new member (click to insert in post) Many of us here may have some codependent tendencies.

Reading the book "Stop Caretaking the Borderline or Narcissist" greatly helped me to recognize those behaviors and work towards moving past them to healthier relationship patterns.

This article on supporting vs enabling may also be of interest.
