Well my ds is finally divorced from his nBPD wife and has transferred the house into his name with an assumption loan.  BPDdil now ex dil is supposed to close on her new house on Friday.  She had been living in the house with my s and gd but refusing to let any of her kids talk to my s or gd.  Well, typical BPD that she is she started raging at my s night before last because he bought shoe inserts for her son.  Afterall, they were not supposed to be talking to him so how did he know he needed shoe inserts? While she raged (after sending her kids to their dads) my gd was downstairs; she accused my s of being a bad father to his daughter.  I guess she just showed all the range of BPD stuff all in one night with raging, projection, paranoia, and distortion campaigns.  Well, at that point my s told her she just needed to go ahead and move.  She called in reinforcements in the ranks of her new boyfriend and his sheriff deputy brother, but they just hung around outside and finally she left.  She has rented a truck and is the process of moving her things into the truck until she can close on new home on Friday.   The thing that amazes me most about all this is her lack of preparation in moving.  She has known for over two months, probably longer that she would be moving.  Hardly anything packed into boxes.  The kids clothes were every where.  My s finally put them in black trash bags just so he could move the washer and dryer which are hers out.  Are all BPD's this unorganized and chaotic?  She is so well put together on the outside yet her bathroom mirror is so dirty there is no way she could even see herself.  I doubt if it has seen windex in 2 years.   Even though it is almost over and so much damage was done in the 3 years she was a part of our family I find myself still intrigued by the complexities of BPD.   My s tell me that he has moved on and I should too.  I know that he is devastated by the fact that her 4 kids who he treated so well,  will now not talk to him.  They have not hardly spoken to me in over a year so I am no longer even expecting a sign of recognition from them, but... it is just another sign of how strange this disorder can be.

Thank you again for reading my story and giving me insight into BPD.  I wish you all the best!
