Hi, apologies for posting on this board but I don't know where else it would fit. I normally post about my uBPD ex husband , but this post is about my very close friend, we will call her 'E' .

E has brought up on several occasions that she believed herself to be BPD. She even has read splitting. I appreciate her openness, so I am open with her about ex BPD. It's not like I could really hide it because E and my ex and I use to hangout extremely regularly. Ex BPD has even given E numerous tattoos. My point is she knows about the ex because ex has even verbally abused E.

So I'm now in the process of , well sort of picking E's brain. Asking her various questions about how she would react. I do understand BPDers are not typically 'welcomed'on this site... Are there any support sites I can send her to? She is also a DV victim and I am trying to get her to come into our local DV groups with me.

Though I keep myself at a safe healthy distance from E, I care very much about her and am so glad that we can be open to each other- without any risks.

Sorry I posted here I just didn't know of any better place, though feel free to correct me.

Thanks in advance

Answer #1: This board isn't for meant for a person with BPD. One of the main sticky posts directs people with BPD to these resources instead.

Question: You've spent lots of time here... .  and must have worked stuff out re: your ex-husband. Does your experience with BPD fit the other person well?
