Day 10... .and I woke to an email... .so N/C is broken... .proud of myself that I was not the one to do it... .but I did respond to her

She emailed to rub more salt in the wound telling me how the things I did were the worst things I could ever do to someone... .

I replied... .shouldn't have to explain to her how the back and forth and the breaking up for weeks on end put me in such a state - I didn't know if she was coming back.  That I ever slept with anyone else at all - while perhaps wrong - for god's sake - look at what I was going through.  How do you know if someone who broke up with you is coming back?

So I did reply... .guess I'm just as bad as her?  She has been working with a counselor - but apparently she got fed up with the process and cracked... .

Makes me wonder if she will get back to it or if she will dip in and out of that like she does with me... .or anything else in her life... .

bauers220,

It's so hard sometimes, and you are not alone.  We've all been there - sending out messages or replying when we knew it probably wasn't a good idea.  Be gentle with yourself, and remember that the pwBPD probably wasn't experiencing the same relationship that you were.

You are wondering if she'll get back into therapy.  What would that mean to you?

Hi Bauers. Sorry to hear about what your going through.

Yes, its more than likely that your ex will get back together with you. The statistical odds are 80%+ (based on the stats of recycling) on this site.

If you are interested in what happens when they come back I would recommend you search the term recycle on this site. It will give you some insight on what pwBPD think like and behave.
