How long did it last?
Was it worth it?
How did it make you feel to be just a rebound?
Did you feel like they were comparing you to their ex?

I was but I didn't know it.
I found out close to the end of our relationship she was in the process of getting back with her ex when I came into the picture. The same ex that was stalking her and she had to put a restraining order on.

I think I was.
We got together 4 months after his wife of 23 years left him for another man. I didn't know at the time but he had been abusive to her too.
I always had a niggly little feeling at the back of my mind that part of the attraction of being with me was to 'get his own back' on his ex. He often compared us and appeared to like showing off that he could get a new wife, who was a lot younger and who he could have a better lifestyle with.
Towards the end of our marriage he started to say that his ex wife had asked him out on a date and wanted him back. I almost believed it, until her exbf came back on the scene around the same time so it really didn't look like she was interested in him at all.

My ex BPD left the guy she had been seeing for 2 months to get back with me. We had a 2.5 year relationship prior. Well, after 5 weeks of things going great, so I thought, she left me and moved across the country to start a relationship with a guy she hooked up with a few times after we broke up the first time. So I guess I was a rebound, and now he is too? God these people don't make any sense... .

I was a rebound, but then again, with my ex, everyone is a rebound. She can't not be in a relationship. When we didn't work out she immediately moved in with her "friend" even though she was attempting to get me back. They got married a month ago. That was less than four months after we broke up.

I was my uBPD/NPD ex gf's rebound that lasted for 3+ years. She was going through a divorce the first year and a half we were together. I still can't believe all the crap I put up with. I used to think "why isn't she kissing my ars for all the BS I deal with?" That's just not the way she's wired!
