Hi Guys!

My BPD ex was verbally abusive so now, I'm using affirmations to help counteract the negative messages I received during that relationship.
I'd like to set up an affirmations thread in the Leaving Section where anyone can leave an affirmation and hopefully, it will help build up the spirit and emotional strength of anyone who has just left a relationship with a borderline partner.
An affirmation uses "I statements"; as in "I have the right to validation". And an affirmation is a positive statement so it doesn't use the words "never" or "can't".
Words like "Never", "Always" and "But are negative however I have given good alternatives as you can see below:
Negative-----> PositiveNever-------> Rarely
Always------> Often
But----------> However
My affirmation for today is:
I am a beautiful person and I deserve happiness in my life
