dBPDh has agreed to see a therapist and do the High Conflict Couple

We shall see if it works out but I feel better than I have in a long time.  He looked through it and thought it sounded good.  We are both tired of trying therapy together that goes nowhere.  I have emailed a few therapists that do DBT and hope that we can find someone good.

I am so thrilled with the therapist I interviewed today.  She works with one of Fruzzetti's partners and has all of the documents that they use.  We will have a set program and it uses both the book the High Conflict Couple and the documents that Fruzzetti uses.  She was so knowledgeable and gave me a great deal of hope about this working.  She said this is a newer program and she has just started using it but consults with this other therapist once a week. She has been treating borderline patients for 10 years.   My husband has been open to talking about this and reading the book.  We will start next week and she isn't going to use the labels borderline or narcissism with him, yet.
