My 16 year old was put in the hospital on last Monday, Tuesday they called and recommended sending her away to a place called  HARBOR POINT in Portsmouth Virginia for three months I was wondering if any of you had ever dealt with  this facility and if it helped your child, please let me know. thanks

Hello njva4,

It doesn't look like we have any threads with this particular RTC on here.

But when researching facilities, it is always important to interview them and ask them for references and all else you need to/want to know. And when you are deciding on sending your child there, it's a good idea to go see the place in person... .

Have you had a chance to look at the Archive: Hospitalization, RTCs, and IOPs? There is a bounty of information there... .
