Welcome Smiling (click to insert in post)

I'm fairly new too and there are a ton of very good resources on here(people and links)

I'll tell you one thing- motivation is tough if you are in a relationship with someone with BPD, but trust the people on here for motivation and suggestions.

A relationship can work and I know we non-BPD's want answers instantly a lot of the times, but this is homework, so if you do the homework, you can do it.

If you open up a bit more about your situation, you will find responses that will pinpoint specifics.

I promise, lots of people on here are like you, probably going through what you are going through, and can offer support.

Don't give up and keep posting.

I've done a lot on my own. And to be honest things are much better know than they have ever been. (Meds help!) I feel things are starting to slide south. And we live together now so im feeling the need to stay on level ground as best I can.

New to the community. Staying looking for motivation or a few stories where things worked out.

Hello, Jb15 &  Welcome

You have found the right place if you are looking for motivation to work on your relationship, and if you check out every single link to the right-hand side of this page, you will find a vast amount of resources to understand your partner, learn how to communicate in a way that stops pushing every one of your partner's buttons, and figure out how to deal with the relationship in a way that can make things better.

We even have a thread all about stories of couples who have learned how to work things out: Success Stories, and by now I hope you have perused the threads on this Board and found more of them, and read just how they are doing it. Making things better is possible; it just takes time and dedication to the relationship, posting on this Board and telling us more of your story, and asking your questions. We are always here to listen and offer insights, Jb15
