I just found this website and registered this morning. What led to this? I believe that 1-2 of my sisters and my mom have BPD. Most recently, my sister is having a crisis and has nearly broken all ties with our dad and step-mom. My sister sent to me most of her e-mails to my dad, and his to her. I tried to help by letting our other siblings know what is going on and this backfired. I am hurting for my dad. I feel stressed about the situation. I hate that my sister, who I am very close to, is doing this again.

Welcome!   I can see why you're worried about your dad. It sounds like things have been quite tense for him for a while, and I'm sorry that you're going through this.

Besides cutting off your father, what concerning behaviors do you see from your sister? How is your relationship with your sister?
