My wife, my mother.

After recently being left and divorced by my BPD wife it led me to do lots of research and soul searching. Looking back at my childhood I always viewed my mother as the victim. Now I'm certain she was BPD. Which could be why I've always been attracted to women with those defects. Just wondering.

Sounds familiar, welcome to this side of the forum. Good to know the truth. What other thoughts has this realisation triggered ?

It made me realize why every relationship I've been in has ended screwed up.

Now you know what you know, things can only get better. Knowledge is power. The truth will set you free, etc... .Big realisation for me was, it didn't really matter how I behaved around my BPD, she was never going to be happy. Exonerated, in a way. How do you feel about it all ?

Its kinda strange for years I had my dad marked as the problem in the house. Now I think he could have just been reacting to my mother.

You know what my moms a BPD too. It's sort of heartbreaking talking to her. The amount of drama she's about. Is sad. I love her but it's sad. As she's gotten older it's gotten worst. I can hear the child in her voice. She does love me but it's sad heading from her.
It makes me wonder how my ex will be when she is older.
