BPD My spouse?

Hi everyone, I have been married to my spouse for 8 years coming on 9. I have two kids. And have recently started MC. And it is there that I realized what I was dealing with after all this time.
So hoping to get some strength and support.

Hi ArmyOf1! Welcome to the forums.
Do you have any specific questions or are you still trying to let the reality of it all sink in? It is a lot to absorb.
One of the great things about this place is that there is no shortage of support. Also, check out the lessons that you can find down the right side of the forum. They are full of really helpful information. It is a lot to take in but it is a good place to start as you try to wrap your mind around things.
If you have specific questions or need to vent, post away.
Would you be willing to share more about your situation? Have things been weird between the two of you for the whole marriage or did something happen that seemed to change things?

Hi Armyof1,
I like your selected user name. I can certainly identify with the meaning. I also joined the forum just today. Like yourself, I too am very early in realizing and attempting to digest what I am dealing with. I've been married 20 years. We have been to MC before but have yet to encounter a therapist willing to lay it on the line with us. We are both educated in the medical field but for years my wife's behavior slipped past me because all the focus was on our son. He is a diagnosed paranoid schizophrenic with an underlying personality disorder. (anti-social). It's very nice to meet you. I wish you good luck in your marriage endeavor and your quest to feel healthy, whole, and satisfied.
