How should I repond?

I've just had a text message from my uBPD GF saying 'You do make me laugh!'
I guess this is in response to me putting a password on my tablet after she started looking through my contacts on there last night. I don't actually use my tablet for contacting anyone and there were only about three email addresses on there but unfortunately one of these happened to be a female ex work colleague that GF hates me contacting. This led to her looking through messages I sent ages ago venting to my colleague. These aren't actually on my tablet as my messages but I think she got onto my email and copied them to herself. I didn't mind her using my tablet as long as she's not going to snoop into my communications or start triggering herself in this way and dragging things up from the past. I told her she'd breached my trust and I was going to put a password on which I've since done.

Hi Yaffle,
do you really need to react to that? Would it not be JADE to engage on a discussion when you are taking concrete steps to protect your privacy?
She stepped over the line and you took the defensive steps you see as appropriate.
I would switch topics.

Things like this have happened to me as well.
For some reason... .my wife is compulsive snooper... .she will go periods without doing it... .but apparently... .it is a defense mechanism when she is triggered.
I am responsible for securing my email and files... .it works out much better that way... .rather than relying on my wife to be reasonable.
My advice is similar to an0ught... .don't mention it again.
If she really wants an answer... she will ask you a clear... direct question.
Then... you can take time to think about whatever she has asked... .and decided to answer... or not.
