He had another stroke

After a very tumultuous weekend, I was (with the help of a friend) able to convince my husband to go to the hospital, Monday. After 8 hours of tests, they determined he'd had another stroke. It wasn't a bad one, but he is now more agitated than ever.
Today is the last day to submit my gourds (art) to the gallery (must be juried in) and I had to make one last push yesterday to get finished. Every time I came out of my studio, he had something nasty to say. I was so proud of myself for continuing to be pleasant and ignoring the sniping, but it isn't easy.
He's angry at himself for not getting health insurance and he's taking it out on me. No surprise there! Whenever he gets like this, he does something ridiculous with the help of our live-in friend~~especially if I'm not home. I'll be gone several hours today and wonder if I'll find my stuff out in the yard when I come home. UGH!

Rocky,
I would like to send out a to you in this time you're going through ... .I can only imagine the stress & the frustration you must be going through. IF your s/o is so disabled from previous strokes have you attempted to get social security disability AND Medicare / Medicade? If he's unable to work, "and it sounds as if he is", he paid into the system he should be able to get it. Unless you're not in the US and this isn't possible.
I wish you the very best luck in getting into the gallery ... .sending positive things your way.
take a deep breath ... .
