Lifewriter, you're very welcome.  This board helped me tremendously and when you're in the middle of things, it is very difficult to see you're way out of it.  I disagree with your comment about the "victim-blame" thing though.  Speaking only for myself, I don't blame my ex for anything, really.  I think that BPD is a coping mechanism and they just don't know any better.  Ultimately, I took full responsibility for the problems that I faced, not because they were my fault, but it was my fault entirely for saying in the relationship and taking the abuse. She was just being crazy. Not that I could see this clearly back then, but it is crystal clear now.  I think that when I was in the middle of it, I couldn't see that it was all my fault and blamed her.  Now I look at it like blaming a scorpion for stinging you -- it's just their nature.
