hi all -

i'm currently in a relationship of over 10yrs with someone who is chronically BPD.  the relationship is in the stages of breaking down due to the stress it puts on me via his exhaustive pathological lying,  wild mood swings and his infidelity.  I am no longer willing or able to give excessive amounts of energy to the black hole of BPD and am trying to focus on myself more.  so here I am, hoping to heal and find others who are unfortunately in a similar situation.

peace to all,

Welcome Daisy,

In a way, everyones story here is different, but in a way its also all the same.

We get hurt, do some hurt ourselves too along the way, put up a lot of energy in dealing with the BPD and it all brings us to a point of exhaustion at some point.

Good that you put the focus now on yourself, healing and working on ourselves is the only thing we can do.
