I have an adult child with BPD, so I feel, and am tired of walking on eggshells.

Our objective is to better understand the struggles our child faces and to learn the skills to improve our relationship and provide a supportive environment and also improve on our own emotional responses, attitudes and effectiveness as a family leaders

Welcome anngregg. This is a place where people really know what you are going through. My daughter is 24 and was diagnosed BPD in her late teens. She has been in and out of therapy for years, abuses various drugs, and cycles through relationships with the latest "love of her life" frequently. She no longer lives with us, but the "eggshell" feeling is still there a lot of the time.

Can you tell us more about your situation? Does your child live with you? Diagnosed? Therapy?

Keep posting. Utilizing the tools and support that is available here will help. My d still has BPD, but I am much more at peace.
