How to communicate after a contentious divorce... Following a contentious divorce and custody battle, there are often high emotion and tensions between the parents. Hi All,

Like many of you I have been continually searching for answers and an understanding to what has just transpired in my life. Sunflower, a current member on here directed my attention to a posting from over two years ago which I found to be the MOST INSIGHTFUL discussion on bpdfamily thus far (and trust me I have read a lot). I would like to start a conversation in follow up to this posting with the current members on here as most members from back then are no longer active (I hope to be in that category soon!).

Follow this link for the initial forum: https://bpdfamily.com/message_board/index.php?topic=161524.80

Read user 2010s posting about halfway down on page one.

I for one fit directly into the "lonely child" persona and the description of the relationship dynamics were spot on. An incredible posting and follow up conversation.

PS. don't want to steal anyone's thunder here just trying to help all of us, including myself, who are currently struggling. I think this posting and subsequent conversation will help. FF
