I am being to wonder if I can setup a systems to train my BPD mom to act right?

Over the past few days as my chest pains have lessened allowing my anger / rage to subside allowing me to gain a bit of clarity.

I am being to wonder if I can setup a systems to train my BPD mom to act right?  If her fear of abandonment causes here to terrorize everyone in the family maybe I can use that to motivate her to behave properly.

There is no way she will see out behavior cognitive therapy to help her cope with her fear of abandonment, but maybe through my own behavior conditioning I get at least get her to act normal.

You know treats of attention for acting right, and slamming the door in her face if she starts acting badly.  Kinda like Pavlov's dog.

I'd be interested to hear your responses.  Can BPD mom be trained to act right?

I can now see dealing with people with mental illness is an important life skill.

Suddenly the news makes sense to me.

I really want to go NC for the rest of my life, but have nice, nephew and cousins who are subject to the insanity of these two.  I know they are unaware of their behaviors and like a drug addict will do whatever they need to for their next attention fix.
