Hi.  My 13 year old daughter has been diagnosed with BPD.  It's been a year in the making, a 3 hospitalizations before we got the official diagnosis.  Now she is in counseling with a good therapist, we have her on lockdown basically with a new security system.  struggling when to give her a little freedom, tired of being prison wards, feeling the life we have had is over. 

Our objective is to better understand the struggles our child faces and to learn the skills to improve our relationship and provide a supportive environment and also improve on our own emotional responses, attitudes and effectiveness as a family leaders
