Hi all

I'm new here. I'm a mom of an 18 year od BPD daughter. I've never been able to talk to anyone, I'm burning with questions, need to understand, in need of connection with others.

It's sensitive and I can't talk to anyone really and I'm exhausted, I'm exhausted, and I don't know how to do this so well. Would love to chat with anyone willing. Thank you so much

Hello suzeeJ,

Welcome to the Parenting Board!

We are glad you are here.  I have a daughter, diagnosed at 12 with emerging BPD, depression, anxiety, and ODD.  She is 19 now.

What kind of questions did you have?  I'll do my best as will the other parents to answer them.

I have a 23 year old who was 18 when she was diagnosed with BPD. It can seem overwhelming at times. I will be happy to answer any questions you may have as we have been through a lot I the past several years. My daughter also was diagnosed at the age of 16 with severe depression, and bi polar and also around the same time with being diagnosed with BPD she also was diagnosed with schizoaffective which is very frightening at times.  It has been a very bumpy road.

Thank you for the warm welcome. As you all know it is all very overwhelming.

Very, very overwhelming.

I will begin to follow some threads as a starting point.

Thank you so much
