Yesterday I posted about inner core and received great insite from the group. Something in our relationship triggered her and she never came back from it. I was and my family was black. We went to my sisters one time, my brother in law and I went to get a satellite dish, only gone a short time. I left my ex at my sisters. When I got back, she was wild at me. That could of been a trigger. My ex said my sister went to bed and ignored her, gave me a speech to never leave her there again. I was not happy with my sister, asked her what the hell did you do? My sister just had a baby and she said the baby was crying so I went to look in on her. She said she did everything to make my ex comfortable. My ex is not mine to figure out any more and I feel I grew so much in the past year but questions do pop up. She was so often left with her sexually abusive grandfather I think leaving her alone at my sisters triggered something she never came back from. So many issues stem from this such as control, inability to trust. Her mother was molested by the same man. It seems odd you would expose your child to this. I do have to be careful not to split her all black. That was pointed out to me and I feel I do split her black. Maybe more now than ever bc she is in a stable committed r/s.
