Been about 2-3 months of NC and damn last couple days, just mentally broke through.  Feels so good to take back my life.  It is possible folks.

Before this I was bouncing between anger and depression.  Then I found something I liked doing, building a cabin.  At first I was missing her and still hurting while building the cabin but I forced myself to do it.   Just worked it till late night.  The missing her part dissipated with time.

There wasn't a single moment but it was over the last few days, I felt normal and realized what a POS she was.  What a childish a-hole of a self-proclaimed "victim".

Now I'm talking to a new girl an getting back into the dating scene.  I'm more aware of what I learned from the previous relationship with my ubpb ex.

Damn it feels good to take back my life.

I like the analogy! I haven't talked to mine for over three weeks. Still really painful but it would be more painful to go around and get thrown off again. Which is what would happen.

After 2 weeks of NC, although I went back into remission, I was able to sleep again for a few hours each time.

But Permanent NC is the way to go.

Sent the new girl flowers yesterday and things are rolling.

They say the sun will shine again tomorrow, but I already see the sun shining today.

Moving on.
