My wife & I are currently separated and living apart; but, are trying to repair our marriage as well as our relationships with the other's families.  We're not sure where to begin or what steps we should take first.

Neither of our children nor our families understand or have any education surrounding BPD. Additionally, my wife has admitted that she has traits & is currently in treatment.

We are both committed to each other & committed to treatment.

Where do we begin?

My wife keeps saying "if we reconcile, I will lose everyone in my life." That was an irrational fear in the past & may have some validity to it now. That fear, real or imagined, continues to cause her to backslide & withdraw - how should I address this?
