Hello, I am new to this site. My husband has been recently diagnosed with BPD. He is willing to accept treatment, and understands that his BPD has caused much harm in our marriage and in his life. I guess I am writing this to connect with people and build a support system for me. As with everyone else, my husband is the Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde. He is motivated to change, but we are at that place in our marriage where it is in crisis mode. I know that I don't have to make a decision right now to stay or go. But, it is difficult living in limbo. Thank you for listening.

Hi jidilo and welcome!  Welcome new member (click to insert in post)

Most of us here can relate to living with Jekyll and Hyde partners! You've come to the right place for support.

It's a really positive sign that he is aware of the pain he has caused and is willing to get treatment. Many people with BPD (pwBPD) never get to that point.

We do understand how difficult it is to be in these relationships and to decide whether to stay or leave. How long have you been married?
