BPD sister making contact with my g/f

Hello again,
i have been away for awhile, enjoying NC with BPD sis. Recently my g/f joined Facebook, i was delighted as i had lost touch with her about 4 yrs. ago. My sister found her too & began dialogue, even invited my g/f to dinner. My sis is 3 yrs. younger than me & g/f knows that we are NC. I am not upset by this but I'd rather not read it so I have "unfollowed" g/f. My question is why does BPD sis do this? Prior to this she made contact with 2 of my exes & friended a male classmate of mine(on FB)...i just dont understand...

Hi beatup:
What she is doing, doesn't make sense to someone who leans toward the normal range of mental health.
I think that when someone with BPD/BPD traits has painted someone black, they seek opportunities to bash them and try to make them look bad to others. It's, also, an opportunity to play the victim. There seems to be a trend that they like to engage on social media.
Sounds like a good move on your part to stay out of the fray. I'm thinking you can find alternate ways to interact with your "found" friend. It would be nice if your friend "unfriends" your sister. I only use Facebook to access business info., so I'm not as familiar with the setting options as most. I believe it's possible for your girlfriend to have a posting category on her Facebook page, where she can restrict your sister from seeing and/or posting on.
Safest way, might be to keep doing what you are doing and just stay away from your friend's Facebook page. The downside of settings is that mistakes happen and your sister might end up seeing something you posted, because privacy settings were mistakenly changed.
Hope you find an alternate, safe way to communicate with your friend.

Hi and welcome back.
It could be that your sister wants to see if you have told others anything about her. Or it could even be a way to have a connection with you or it could be the reasons No-One outlined. It's hard to say.
I don't use facebook any more, only checking it once a month or so. Like No-one I am not up on the different settings available. I never posted much of anything personal on it though. I kept all that to messages or email. Do you care if she sees anything you may post on your friends page?
Hmmm... if you block your sister wouldn't that make her posts invisible to you? Like I said I don't use it hardly at all.
