I was on the boards years ago when I first learned my daughter had BPD and that's where I learned to cope with it. I'm understanding now that others in my family may also have BPD - my mother was definitely a narcissist and had some antisocial qualities as well. I did not live with her past the age of 14 but my siblings did and that was a very toxic environment.

Recently I came to suspect that a good friend is very likely BPD. She turned on me like Jekyll and Hyde.

I'm starting to see BPD everywhere and wonder at its prevalence. I'm seeking more information about handling it.

Barefoot22, we're glad you came back, even though the reason is sad.

Can you tell us more about your experience with your friend? What happened and where are you in the relationship now?

Barefoot,
I’m seeing more and more of what looks like Narcissism and BPD. I’m a curious person by nature and wonder (and pray) about science pointing to some new clues about the prevalence. I just read a study this week about Autism and the gut biome. Hm!
