Anyone else sometimes feel weary and resentful of being the emotionally intelligent one? I was unfairly run over at work yesterday by a stressed coworker who accused me of not sending her requested info. I re-sent the already sent info, she admitted she hadn't opened it, how could she, because she was way too busy to read all of those attachments. (?) This coworker, someone I work well with,  just saw her H thru hip replacement and his recovery is super stressful. She is super anxious, she shouldn't be at work. She has a lot on her plate AND she dumped on me unfairly.

I'll deal with it professionally, I know it's not necessarily personal and I'll set boundaries, but this experience dug into resentment towards BPD MIL and H who insist on keeping their heads in the dirt. Nothing wrong with them, other than the fact that I get 'too emotional.' Individual therapy? No thanks.

For the love of all things holy, why don't people take responsibility for their own emotional health? How to address my resentment today?
