It is difficult to know where to begin, so probably at the beginning. I have been married for almost 16 years. The marriage has been a roller coaster ride of emotions. I have often felt huge despair and wondered how "normal" I am. I have children and have absolutely no doubt that they are loved. But in any minute there can be a change of behaviour. From happy to axe blows with a single throw away word or phrase. And then a diagnosis of BPD and suddenly things fall into place. But it doesn't make the situation easier. I want to make it easier, but I feel so tired, having to be careful with what I say or do in order to avoid massive amounts of anger.
And it gets more complicated. I went to the family of my partner for support and became embroiled in the hate that they live with and am now in court with the threat of having my children taken away by them. The people who possibly put my wife in the place she is now.
