Help for relationship w/ Boyfriend with BPD

I am just trying to learn about BPD. Trying to understand why he reacts the way he does and how to help him and our relationship.

Serenity, read as much as you can. If you want to make it work, you will need to really understand what is a very complicated condition. I found that reading - and the resources here are simply amazing - helped me process my breakup, and I wish I knew 1/3 of what I learned here during my relationship. But what is done is done...

Also: remember your goal must be understanding the behaviors, not trying to change him, not trying to convince him to change. He will need to choose to help himself.
