Hey all!  Welcome new member (click to insert in post) Do you think that my friend is a pwBPD? I've been reading about the disorder and the more I research about it the more I think that she is a pwBPD. Here are the observations I've noted down ever since becoming friends with her.

1) Heavy smoker and drinker
2) History of drug use
3) Male only friends
4) Foolhardy behavior
5) Social media addict
6) A lot of exes
7) "abused by all exes"
8) Triangulation with the men in her life
9) A lot of "mirrored" hobbies
10) Relationship/friendship recycling
11) Magical thinking (universe, sixth sense, ghosts, etc...)
12) Attention seeking

hi Mr D, and Welcome

its difficult (if possible) to say whether any of these, or all of these things, would cross the threshold into a personality disorder. any one of these things, or a few of these things, could mean a personality disorder, or just a very immature person.

when trying to determine whether a loved one has bpd, this is a very good place to start: https://bpdfamily.com/content/what-borderline-personality-disorder

what is your relationship with your friend like?
