any suggestions on whether to go cold turkey vs more gracious way of saying we need to stop our romantic relationship and be seperated for some time and maybe after some time away from each other we could be friends without any close contact.

she is already frantic and goes up and down saying she'll kill herself and then trying to soft talk me into coming back. ( i am now in a hotel as we live next to each other so i am staying away from her)
