Nothing works. Maybe temporarily.

If they for sure have BPD and already painted you black and acted on fear of abandonment, they may come back briefly - but they will eventually leave. If you’re knew to this forum, dive in. Learn as much as you can prepare yourself for when NC ends.

NC is your best bet though if you want to be recycled. The less you care, the more they’ll question. The more you push, the further they’ll go. If they relied on you for emotional support, they will again. At the cost your inner peace.

Until they find someone else. Then don’t expect anything anytime soon.

I was recycled multiple times and it hurt worse every time. Now I’m replaced and don’t exist. Don’t be like me. That person doesn’t care for you, them leaving is all you need to know.

I wanted them back. I read every article on how to get them back. I should’ve just accepted it and did myself a favor and blocked them and never returned. Now I’m in the worst mental space of my life.

I pray you are stronger than me. Move on. They’ll ruin your life.
