Hi Paula584 and welcome to a place that understands your challenges.

Parenting teens already isn't easy, and trying to parent an adult child with BPD traits is next level.

Who else lives with you -- spouse? partner? other children or family members? If there are others, how are those relationships?

Does your 18YO tend towards verbal outbursts, or physical stuff as well?

What have you tried so far, and how did that go?

Lots of questions -- just to get a better idea of your unique situation.

BPD relationships are beyond difficult and so exhausting. Glad we can be here for you and support you right now.
