When I watched this video, I found so many similarities to what many of us struggle with. I'm hoping for some feedback.

What do you get from this story?

THis is so good because it is true i use to consume my time with my BPD, and worry how others will act or will think of my BPD. i was so consumed i didn't see this other side of him.

now my eyes are open and things aren't so bad, he doesn't act out as much due to me doing what i need to do and letting him be himself.  i let go of what could of been and just accepted what is, and i changed what i could and due to that things started changing.

my husband is still annoying and irritating but i see it in a differnt way... .it was a good video.

I like how it shows our fears as demons that we allow to control us. And how making that change to regain control won't feel good, and that it will be scary.

Good video.  Actually reminded me of a very similar incident with my BPDw's friend, and how she tried to dominate the attention of anyone she spoke to.  I used a similar tack to this video, and it worked out well. Smiling (click to insert in post)

Yes... .I know a LOT about ACT  Smiling (click to insert in post)

It is a fantastic program that has a lot of empirical support showing good effect sizes that are maintained even after treatment stops.
