Something that helps me

Good Morning Everyone: In my quest to take care of me, (which I admit I am not great at) I write. I have a journal, I am attempting to write a book, and I have a chalk board in my kitchen where I jot ideas down. I was talking to a good friend of mine and she mentioned to me that she thought it was good that I write but she wondered if my journal, my book and our blog was the only place I should write. She told me that she thought I should branch out and try to get myself to write about other things (my book is about BPD and my journal I use when I am feeling low). I asked her what she meant and she said that she felt like I needed to detach from this crazy world I live in and just write about anything. She does not live in the crazy world that we do, but she has much saddness of her own and she felt blogging helped her. So she sent me this link to a blog site where for free you can start a blog. I publish my blog once a week and I have made an appointment with myself on either Sat or Sun morning to make a cup of tea and sit down and write. It has actually become something I look forward to for a few reasons. Yes, I detach from BPD world, I also make time for myself, I am proud of my blog (no it is not so special, but to me it is) and I also get feed back from other people which makes me feel good. Most of my blogs are humorous because I am quite a quirky person but sometimes they are not, but I write what ever I feel like and it is all mine.

A very good idea, Griz. I like your blog.
I think your friend is right. We just need to "unplug" and take a little time off every day. When we "come back" to BPD we feel stronger.
Keep on blogging!
