I'm speachless - don't know what to say and confused?

Last night I was sitting on the deck with one of the gals from my support group (truthfully) - we were having a conversation about God, devil, BPD (which she has) - I actually just talk with her to help understand how my wife could leave all she had.  We'll my stbexw and daughter stopped by for an Unexpected visit - my stbex told me that if another woman was ever at our house she would call the cops (which she can't as I have possession of the house) - right away I get some texts as expected (oops!, now I've got to do damage controll, etc) So I texted my daughter and explained this is one of the many men and woman in my support group and that it is not a date as I don't feel its right to date while my heart still belongs to your mom, etc.

We'll the next morning I get a text from my stbexw - and it threw me for a huge loop - becuase the last two weeks from her have been hell.  She texted and said that she talked to our daughter, told her why I filed because of the texting she was doing with a different guy (don't know if she told her 100% of the story), and how if I was dating that she told her that it would be a good woman because I was such a good guy and would only hang out with people who were nice.

OK - so I'm confussed - two weeks of extreme hate (worst in 6 months) and then I get this - I have no idea what to think.  It's funny because the gal I was talking too said how she tried going back but her husband wouldn't after 1 year seperated.  Any ideas as the past two weeks have set me back months - and then the texts this morning brought that hope and longing I had finally gotten rid of back.  I'm soo confused... .

They can bounce back and forth from hate to love with the snap of the finger.  Guess that's what the black/white, push/pull is all about.  It is confusing, we cant understand because we don't think like they do.  My ex would have rational moments where she could reflect on her behavior, but sooner or later it was back to the same old BPD thinking, drove me nuts.
