Any ideas how to make the nightmares end?

Just curious if this is just me or if any of you have gone through this and if so how you dealt with in. I keep having dreams about every other night about my stbex wife and her new friends. Non of them have been sexual about him and her. But it is about my shy conservative wife flirting with and picking up other guys or wanted to date these other guys (which she is). Is this normal? It's been 7 months now - and if any of you had similar dreams do they just stop eventually or do you have any tools on how to get them to stop?

You can use a sleep calculator to calculate when to go to sleep so that when you alarm wakes you up you wont be in the middle of your rem sleep cycle.
When you wake up in the middle of your rem sleep cycle you mostly remember your dreams.
Healthy people dont remember dreams.
If i remember correctly you should wake up after 1.5h intervals. So for example 6, 7.5, 9 hours etc.

My dreams are getting less and less. Mine were never nightmares, but dreams in which she was with me, laughing and being happy. Somehow that just made me miss her more.
The busier I am, the more active and the more I occupy my mind with other things, even watching inane TV, the less frequent they are x

Turn the focus on you Cal. The more you are focussed on her the more you will ruminate.
