What is your sexual orientation: Straight

So I have been NC with my ex since mid-May, and at that point I thought I would never make it through this.  I have been seeing a T weekly since April, and it has helped me immensly to identify what my BPD ex provided me that allowed me to be treated like a doormat.  She gave me the validation, and the sense of unconditional love I never received from my dad.  I say the sense of unconditional love, because as soon as we got really close, the devaluation started, because of her fears.  I am not angry with her, just like I am not angry with my dad.  Do I want a relationship with both of them?  Yes, but only a healthy relationship, which is nearly impossible to ever imagine.  Time to fully heal and put me first.  For those that may not be working with a T for whatever reason, this has been the best decision of my LIFE.  There is a reason we ended up in this kind of relationship, and it's not 100% all about BPD.  We were/are 50% of the relationship.
