I was sitting in tears with the sun shining on my face. Letting go of the past. I was shut down in the r/s. NC closed the door to her, and who I was with her. I've been feeling like a turtle, withdrawn into a shell for safety. With good reason. I realized today I am not being myself with so many walls up. I see I was protecting myself from myself. I'm moving forward within these boundaries, and am opening up again.

Keep doing it, I am in the same place as you. It gets easier. You will be you again no matter how much you don't currently feel that way.

yes... me too... .

I feel like a spring flower beginning to bloom. I'm still in the bud stage, but at least I'm growing!

As long as we are green, we can grow.

You will be an even better you!

This journey takes such courage and strength.  I am grateful for everyone on here, helping me to open up again, too.

Myself, can you expand on this? I have been NC for a little bit and was curious what you mean by this?

Thanks,
