Book recommendation for couples self-help?
«

My wife has agreed to go to couples therapy with me, though it seems that her reluctance is slowly increasing. In any case, she wants to read a self-help book/workbook together that will help us address and work on issues in our marriage and improve communication. I fear that she is just wanting to control the dialog and afraid of outside influences, but I have agreed to do this with her and will try to keep an open mind about it.
Does anyone have any recommendations about this? I don't really want to get anything BPD specific as I want to avoid bringing up my amateur diagnosis with her. I'm hoping couples therapy will be the impetus for her to address her personal issues, but we'll see.
thanks.
