Yes this is the unfortunate reality we all have to face one day. How do you feel about this? Do you feel like you've been able to accept the reality of your daughter having BPD and that this is something that she'll always carry around with her?
I think I'm the parent in her life that has always accepted it and tried to work with who she is not what I want (although what I want is in the back of my mind). I don't like it when she uses it as an excuse.
You were surprised and impressed by how your daughter handled things and her calm response. Do you believe this might be a sign that she is improving a bit?
Maybe, I think it's more like she getting a grasp on reality that she now has to make it on her own. She has other means of support. I'm not always her go to person.
I'm hoping the worst is behind us.
