Usually, after a few days like we've just had, I'd be sat crying. Crying so hard you'd think I was in great physical pain. But I'm not. I'm stronger now.

Usually, after a few days like we've just had, I'd be feeling like my world was ending, like things would never get better, like it just wasn't worth going on. But I'm not. I'm stronger now.

Those days still happen... .Too frequently. Those days are still hard... .Really hard.

But, and its a big but, I try really hard not to take it personally. He doesn't mean it and I didn't cause it.

And I've learned tricks, tricks that protect me, tricks that take the edge off situations.

Most of my strength came from here. From reading the information. From reading people's words of wisdom and support for others.

So thank you, I'm stronger now because of you.

Hi Fraggle12,

This is a wonderful display of self-awareness.  Doing the right thing (click to insert in post) I am happy to hear that you have been feeling stronger.

It is a great feeling when you work through certain emotions and situations and end up becoming stronger than before.

Could you share with us what tricks you learned to protect yourself and take the edge of situations?
