Will she actually hit me and will this anger escalate to physical?

For past month of a 6 month relationship this person keeps getting angry and retreating for days with no contact and then contact and wants to be friends. Saw her the other night and then something I said triggered her to have an angry fit and leave and when leaving I went to hug her and she made a fist to strike me and had an unbelievable look of rage in her face. It has been a week and I am actually relieved to not hear from her.
If ever contacted what should I do?
Will she actually hit me and will this anger escalate to physical?
I didnt do anything so this is so illogical.

My opinion is to stay away from her. You do not have that much invested. Whether she is BPD or not doesn't matter. She has a temper that could escalate. Who needs to start a r/s that way? Move on... .

What should I do if she ever texts me again?
I am scared of making her angry so should I just respond and only agree to see in public place or ignore altogether and hope she doesn't hurt me or my property.

Hey logical,
If she texts you again, I suggest you respond with a simple "No, thanks" or words to that effect.
No, I don't recommend that you meet w/her.
As a general matter, pwBPD will seek to "engage" you in some fashion, in order to get a reaction out of you. Your job is to avoid engaging and/or reacting. Keep communications neutral and bland.
Someone with a temper is a big red flag
. I should know, as my BPDxW had one.
As downwhim suggests, move on.

Threats of violence more often than not lead to violence. She is dangerous.

In a relationship, abusive behavior tends to escalate over time, unless you do something to completely change the game.
If you are considering seeing her again... .please read this, to protect yourself from the possibility that things will escalate:
TOOLS: Domestic Violence Against Men
... .
What do you want?
Do you want to get back into a romantic relationship with her?
Do you want to be in a non-romantic friendship with her?
Do you want to be left alone?
