What are some of the better inpatient BPD places?

My wife is talking about needing inpatient or at least intensive outpatient help. Between the BPD, grief, and all sorts of emotions she is not functioning.
My question though is where is the place to send her to get the best help. I know BPD needs a bit of an experienced hand to deal with or it can do more harm than good.
Out of pocket insurance is fine, just what are good places

Exactly what I am wondering as well. I would like to stop talking about and rehashing the problem. Time to find a solution. I just don't know where to go for help.

There just does not seem to be a good answer that I can find on this topic here. I found a few places, but they are all out of network with insurance so it would be kind of nice to know if they are helpful before forking out $10k
The docs I have talked to have said they really do not have alot of experience with BPD and these facilities. I was told Menninger's was great, but it is a hospital. My wife does not like hospitals so curious on these more relaxed places

hurthusband,
Here is a link to information on "RTCs (Residential Treatment Centers) and IOP's (Intensive Outpatient Programs)" from over on the
Parenting a BPD Child Board
that might give you some direction. You might also want you talk with your/her Physician, Psychiatrist or therapist for a recommendation.

Glad to see you reaching out for this information.
